2025 Aviation Scholarship Program

Introduction:
Since its establishment in 1941, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Air Squadron has been a steadfast supporter of the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, providing critical aviation assistance and fostering strong community relations. Our mission extends beyond the skies—we are dedicated to empowering the next generation of aviators who are committed to both aviation excellence and community service.

As part of our ongoing commitment to the Sacramento community, we are proud to introduce the 2025 Aviation Scholarship Program. This initiative is designed to support aspiring pilots between the ages of 17 and 35 who have a passion for aviation and a desire to serve their community. Whether applicants dream of a career in commercial aviation, law enforcement aviation, or humanitarian air missions, this scholarship provides essential financial support, mentorship, and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Through this program, scholarship recipients will receive hands-on support from experienced pilots and mentors, fostering both technical skills and leadership qualities. Our goal is not only to help individuals earn their wings but also to shape them into future leaders who will make a meaningful impact in Sacramento and beyond.
